Foundations support the entire house and its occupants, and must also account for additional loads such as snow. The installation of brick or stone as exterior wall cladding should be considered when setting up the foundations. While the Building Code does not require reinforcement steel in foundation walls by default, it is highly recommended.<\/p>\n

Foundations are poured into reusable formwork designed for this purpose. The frameworks for exterior windows and doors are installed during the formwork setup. Prefabricated windows designed for this purpose can also be inserted into the formwork according to the plan. The concrete must be poured continuously, without interruption. It is also important to remove air pockets and ensure the concrete is pushed under the door and window frameworks.<\/p>\n

In cold weather, the concrete must be protected from freezing with insulating blankets. Accelerators can also be used to speed up the curing of the concrete. In very hot weather, it is crucial to prevent the concrete from drying out too quickly.<\/p>\n
